The Interdisciplinary Neuromodulation Service (SIN) at the Institute of Psychiatry of the Hospital das Clínicas, University of São Paulo Medical School (IPq-HC-FMUSP), invites applications for 1 (one) FAPESP-funded Postdoctoral Fellowship (24 months) linked to the Thematic Project:
“Efficacy of accelerated theta-burst stimulation with or without functional neuroimaging-guided neuronavigation in treatment-resistant depression: a double-blind randomized clinical trial” (FAPESP Grant No. 2024/16488-7).
The fellow will engage in clinical trial management, standardized application of aTBS protocols with and without neuronavigation, neuroimage processing (structural and functional MRI), and scientific publication. Practical experience in rTMS/TBS trials and neuronavigation is required.
Requirements:
PhD obtained within the last 7 years
Proven experience with rTMS/TBS clinical trials
Hands-on experience with neuroimaging-guided neuronavigation systems (e.g., Localite)
Desired: experience with fMRI data, interdisciplinary psychiatric research, and a strong publication record
Salary:
R$ 12.000/month (FAPESP standard postdoc fellowship, updated Jan 2025)
