  • Everyone learns differently. AIC's close-knit community thrives on close relationships among students, faculty, and staff, and we value above all things the individual strengths of our students. For those who need a different approach to learning, we have the Curtis Blake Supportive Learning Services Program. We know you are just as smart as anyone, and we know you can achieve your dreams with the right approach. This fee-based program consists of regular one-on-one tutorial assistance and study skills workshops tailored to your unique needs. Our tutors are trained to work creatively to help you with things like: Goal setting Note taking Time management Study Skills Test taking Written expression Self-advocacy In addition to helping you hone your academic skills in and out of the classroom, SLS staff can also modify your academic environment to help you learn better. We can reduce your courseload and provide special materials or testing options as needed. We will find the best method for you, and use it to help you lay a foundation for your success.
